《居延汉简所见边军的服装配给与买卖》

居延边塞戍卒的衣物,原则上是由戍卒原籍的地方政府负责配给并邮寄到戍卒所在地,不足部分由戍卒自理并可与官府配给之衣物一起邮寄.军官因享有俸金,衣物是需要自理的.因而,尽管一再严令戍卒不得私自买卖衣物,但边塞衣物的买卖现象却非常普遍,因此而发生经济纠纷的事例也颇为常见.

Abstract: In principle the clothing and other articles of daily use of the garrison soldiers at Juyan frontier fortress were provided by the local authorities of the garrison soldiers and sent to where the soldiers were stationed. If there wasn’t enough clothing, the soldiers had to prepare it themselves and send it along with the clothing ration of the local authorities. Officers had their salaries so they had to provide clothing for themselves. Therefore, although soldiers were forbidden to buy and sell clothing privately, clothing buying and selling was quite common at the frontier fortress. And so were economic disputes were common.
